U.S. Sends Flotilla of Warships to Three Ports of South Korea
Pyongyang, March 11 (KCNA) -- The U.S. imperialists introduced warships of the U.S. Navy into the Foal Eagle joint military drills targeting the DPRK, according to the south Korean Yonhap News.

They simultaneously entered into the three ports of the East, West and South Seas of Korea on March 8.

Aegis guided missile destroyer Curtis Wilbur and an Aegis destroyer entered into Phyongtheak Port of Kyonggi Province.

Meanwhile, missile cruiser Lake Erie anchored in Mokpho Port of South Jolla Province and an Aegis destroyer in Thonghae Port of south Korean Kangwon Province.

The warships are loaded with striking means such as Tomahawk missiles, SM-3, SM-2 surface-to-air missiles and antisubmarine rockets.

The flotilla of warships is going to take part in the Foal Eagle joint military drills, large-scale field maneuvers aimed to invade the DPRK, and stage naval combined drills like as anti-submarine drill and naval drill.

It is the first time that the striking flotilla of the U.S. Navy simultaneously entered into various ports.

These huge naval striking forces' entry into ports of south Korea in the wake of the portcall of a nuclear submarine into Pusan Port on March 3 fully reveals the aggressive nature of the joint military drills.
