S. Korean Paper Accuses Japan of Denying Its Past Crimes
Pyongyang, March 7 (KCNA) -- Kyunghyang Daily News of south Korea on March 4 carried an editorial blasting Japan's wrong attitude of denying its past crimes.

The editorial accused the chief cabinet secretary of Japan of mentioning recently the reexamination of Kono's statement in which it admitted to the sexual slavery for the Imperial Japanese Army even a bit.

This wrong attitude was disclosed when a vice-minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology of Japan unhesitatingly made a reckless remark at a meeting that the "comfort women" issue was fabricated, the editorial said, and went on:

Japan, which has not denied Kono's statement, reading the face of the international community, is using even excessive and outright words, talking about the reexamination of Kono's statement.

If Japan is fearful of the punishment by history, it should give up the reexamination of Kono's statement.

No country will support the Japanese government.
