Unearthing of Remains of Civilian Victims Called for in South Korea
Pyongyang, March 6 (KCNA) -- The south Korean Society of Bereaved Families of Civilian Victims before and after the Korean War released a statement on March 4 urging the regime to take a measure for unearthing the remains of civilians who were massacred during the war, according to the south Korean internet paper Voice of People.

Recalling that the society urged the "government" and the "National Assembly" in 2009 to find out and bury the remains of the civilians killed during the war, the statement blamed them for failing to do so till now.

It is a crime of killing those victims again not to find out their remains as they met a grievous death, the statement held.

It urged the present regime to enact a special law for unearthing and burying the remains of the civilian victims, though belatedly.
