S. Koreans Protest against U.S. Nuclear Submarine's Entry into Pusan Port
Pyongyang, March 5 (KCNA) -- The south Korean People's Action for Achieving Peace against War held a press conference in Seoul on Tuesday to denounce the entry of a nuclear submarine of the U.S. imperialist aggressors into Pusan Port, according to the south Korean internet paper Thongil News.

The organization recalled that nuclear strategic submarine Columbus belonging to the 7th Fleet of the U.S. Navy entered Pusan Port, south Korea together with its flagship Blue Ridge on Monday.

It criticized the U.S. for escalating military tensions by introducing nuclear strategic weapons, not content with kicking off the largest-ever military exercises at a time when the climate for the south-north dialogue is being created.

It is as clear as noonday that the introduction of nuclear strategic weapons into the more offensive and provocative military exercises compared with other years would exert a bad influence on the inter-Korean dialogue, the organization said.

It demanded south Korea and the U.S. immediately discontinue the war exercises bringing dialogue phase back to confrontation phase and take the attack weapons out of south Korea.

The U.S. and south Korea should stop all military acts of wrecking peace on the Korean Peninsula and start negotiations for peace, the organization concluded.
