Fishing for 2014 Begins in DPRK
Pyongyang, March 4 (KCNA) -- The Kamapho Fishing Station under the South Phyongan Provincial Fishery Management Bureau in the DPRK has begun fishing for this year.

Determined to carry through the tasks set forth by supreme leader Kim Jong Un in his New Year Address, the officials and employees of the station made a great innovation in winter vessel repair. They finished repairing fishing vessels in a short period in the revolutionary spirit of self-reliance, thus ensuring the first fishing for the year more than ten days earlier than usual.

Choe Kyong Ju, head of a fishing fleet at the station, told KCNA:

All the fishermen are filled with a strong will to carry out this year's fishing plan, three times that of last year, ahead of schedule, true to the intention of the Workers' Party of Korea for bettering the people's livelihood.

We will fish all the year round, without ever leaving the sea deserted, and always make good hauls by introducing the advanced detecting and fishing methods.

Meanwhile, tens of angle fishing net boats belonging to the Unjon Fishing Station under the North Phyongan Provincial Fishery Management Bureau already left for fishing grounds.
