Rodong Sinmun on Proud Tradition of Korean Revolution
Pyongyang, March 4 (KCNA) -- The proud tradition of the Korean revolution which has won victory after victory by dint of ideology is the eternal lifeline for accomplishing the revolutionary cause of Juche, says Rodong Sinmun in an editorial article on Tuesday.

To put forward the information workers as the buglers of advance to educate and recruit people is the proud tradition of the ideological work of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) which was created in the flames of the anti-Japanese revolution and applied in the whole historical course of the developing revolution, the editorial article notes, and goes on:

President Kim Il Sung gained precious experience and created model in information and agitation work in the period when he blazed the trial for the Korean revolution. This is the undying feats he performed by providing the basic cornerstone of the ideological work of the WPK.

The anti-Japanese guerrillas were determined to annihilate the enemy, hearing bugle calls ringing out in the van of the ranks as the orders, instructions and charge orders of Kim Il Sung, and the people turned out in the anti-Japanese war, hearing them as an appeal for an all-people resistance. The bugle calls of the Anti-Japanese Guerrilla Army led to the hurrah for the country's liberation and resounded endlessly on this land along with the dynamic advance for the building of a new country.

The tradition of information and agitation created during the anti-Japanese war threw its brighter rays in the annals of the revolution under the tested guidance of leader Kim Jong Il.

He set forth the important slogan "Let Us Produce, Study and Live like the Anti-Japanese Guerrillas!" 40 years ago. This was an epochal event which brought about a fundamental turn in the ideological and mental traits of the information workers of the WPK.

The 1970s was brightly recorded in the history of the country as a great heyday in the era of the Workers' Party. This is the shining fruition of the leadership of Kim Jong Il who made sure that the bugle call of the Anti-Japanese Guerrilla Army rang out and the drumbeat of the revolution resounded across the country.

The bugle call of the Anti-Japanese Guerrilla Army is ringing out more loudly as an indestructible symbol of the powerful Paektusan nation and a marching song opening the way of the final victory in the new era of the Juche revolution steered by supreme leader Kim Jong Un.
