Crucial Proposal of DPRK Supported by Indonesian Organization
Pyongyang, February 15 (KCNA) -- The Indonesian Federation of Transport Workers Unions released a statement on Feb. 4 in support of the crucial proposal and open letter of the National Defence Commission (NDC) of the DPRK.

The statement said:

The Indonesian Federation of Transport Workers Unions fully supports the crucial proposal and open letter of the NDC for opening up a new phase to improve the north-south relations and achieve national reunification.

They reflect the will of the DPRK to bring about a new phase of independent reunification and peace and prosperity by turning the inter-Korean relations of distrust and confrontation into the ones of trust and cooperation.

The NDC called on the south Korean authorities to completely stop all acts of provoking and slandering each other and military hostile acts against the other side to establish a climate for reconciliation and unity between the north and the south, take a practical measure for preventing a nuclear disaster and thus reenergize the north-south cooperation and exchange.

We urge the south Korean authorities to immediately respond to this and cancel its projected joint military drills for aggression with the U.S. as they are major hurdles lying in the way of improving the inter-Korean relations.

The prospect of the inter-Korean relations hinges on the attitude of the south Korean authorities.

The south Korean authorities should respond to the sincere initiative of the DPRK without delay.

We will as always positively support the Korean people in their just struggle to achieve the independence reunification and peace and prosperity by the concerted efforts of all Koreans.
