The performance began with mixed chorus "Song of General Kim Jong Il", immortal revolutionary hymn. Put on the stage were colorful numbers such as mixed sextet "Greeting Spring on Jong Il Peak", narration and oungum ensemble "Thinking of the General" and mixed chorus "Our Father Marshal Kim Jong Il".

The performers sang high praises of the revolutionary career of Kim Jong Il, who performed undying feats for the country, people, the times and history.

Light music and song "Youth Is Express Train", male duet "We Are Detachment of the General", witticism "One Look" and other numbers vividly represented the pride of passionate youth making great innovations and leap forward on all fronts for building a thriving nation, burning their hearts with Kim Jong Il's patriotism.

The performance reached the climax with drama story-telling and song "One Lineage" and dialogic poem and female solo "We Cannot Live without Him" which reflected the steadfast will of the young people to always advance straight toward a final victory of the great Paektusan nation under the Songun leadership of Marshal Kim Jong Un.

The performance ended with male quartet and pangchang "We Will Resemble the General". It was acclaimed by the audience.
