Day of Shining Star to Be Marked in Tunisia

| Pyongyang, February 13 (KCNA) -- A Tunisian preparatory committee for celebrating the 72nd birth anniversary of Generalissimo Kim Jong Il (Day of the Shining Star) was inaugurated with due ceremony in Tunis on February 1. Haifa Fersi, chairwoman of the Tunisia-Korea Friendship Association, was elected chairwoman of the preparatory committee. The committee decided to organize various political and cultural events to praise the revolutionary career and exploits of leader Kim Jong Il on the occasion of the Day of the Shining Star. A congratulatory message to supreme leader Kim Jong Un was adopted at the inaugural ceremony. |
