Jalanath Kanal in the message expressed sincere reverence for leader Kim Jong Il, eternal general secretary of the WPK, on the occasion of his 72nd birth anniversary on behalf of the Central Committee of the Nepal Communist Party (United Marxist-Leninist) and on his own behalf. He recalled that Kim Jong Il made an immortal contribution to the struggle of the Korean people against imperialism.

He noted that the Korean people have achieved brilliant successes in the revolutionary struggle for defending the country and socialism under the energetic leadership of Kim Jong Un.

Reaffirming absolute support to the DPRK in its struggle for defending the dignity and sovereignty of the country, the Nepali party expresses belief that the peaceful reunification of Korea would be surely achieved to help ensure peace and stability of the region and, furthermore, peace of the world, the message said.

It wished Kim Jong Un good health and happiness and the Korean people prosperity, expressing belief that the friendly relations existing between the Nepal Communist Party (United Marxist-Leninist) and the WPK, will be everlasting.
