Kim Yong Nam said in his message Vishwanath was a prominent socio-political figure who tirelessly worked hard for the independent development of his country and freedom and happiness of its people from his early years and a close friend of the Korean people and other progressives of the world as he devoted himself to the sacred cause of achieving human independence under the banner of the immortal Juche idea fathered by President Kim Il Sung and enriched in depth by leader Kim Jong Il.

Though Vishwanath passed away, his precious exploits will be always remembered by the Korean people and other progressives, the message added.
