Kim Jong Il Is Always Alive in Hearts of DPRK People
Pyongyang, February 12 (KCNA) -- Servicepersons and people of the DPRK are becoming more ardent in their yearning for leader Kim Jong Il, who cared so much for their life in his lifetime, with the approach of his birth anniversary, the Day of the Shining Star (Feb. 16).

Whenever he inspected military units, he called at kitchens to acquaint himself with servicepersons' diet and took necessary measures to improve it.

Innumerable are the stories about the loving care shown by him for servicepersons and people of the DPRK.

There is a story based on his boundless loving care for people. It was when a hydro-power station of national significance was under construction.

When learning about the details of the construction and living conditions of evacuees from the area to be submerged, he took immediate measures to build dwelling houses for them and set it as a regulation to build houses for evacuees before starting any construction projects.

This story gives a glimpse of the ties of kinship between Kim Jong Il and the people in the DPRK.

As the Day of the Shining Star comes nearer, the servicepersons and citizens of the DPRK are recalling with deep emotion the undying exploits he performed on behalf of the country and the people, revering him as their father.
