DPRK Takes Positive Measures to Prevent Influenza
Pyongyang, February 11 (KCNA) -- It has been reported that A (H1N1) influenza has rapidly spread throughout the world, claiming an increase of victims.

The influenza is an acute respiratory epidemic characterized by fever, cough, throat pain and other symptoms.

The DPRK government has taken a series of measures to prevent the influenza.

Medical organs have paid special attention to health conditions of the old and the patients with chronic diseases.

People are advised to observe the rules of health in order to prevent themselves from being infected with the virus.

They are also encouraged to brush their teeth with 3-5 percent brine at least three times a day and take garlic sap on a normal basis.

Airports, harbors and border railway stations have strengthened quarantine inspection to prevent the influenza from coming into the country.
