Day of Shining Star to Be Commemorated in Russia

| Pyongyang, February 10 (KCNA) -- A Khabarovsk territorial preparatory committee for celebrating the birth anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il (Day of the Shining Star) was inaugurated on Feb. 5. Alexander Fedosov, chairman of the Russia-Korea Friendship Association of Khabarovsk Territory who is also minister of Culture of the Khabarovsk Territory Administration, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee. The committee decided to hold various events including seminar, photo exhibition and film show praising the sacred revolutionary career and undying exploits of Kim Jong Il between Feb. 6 and 28. |
