Speakers at the meeting said that supreme leader Kim Jong Un sent a letter "Let Us Bring About Innovations in Agricultural Production under the Unfurled Banner of the Socialist Rural Theses" to the participants in the conference, adding it is an expression of the great trust in all agricultural workers.

They vowed to fully display the advantages, validity and vitality of the socialist rural theses by dynamically conducting the three revolutions in the rural areas and bringing about innovations in agricultural production this significant year marking the 50th anniversary of the theses on socialist rural question made public by President Kim Il Sung, true to the historic letter of Kim Jong Un.

Kim Yong Gwang, minister of Metallurgical Industry, expressed the will to hit without fail the goal of the steel production set forth by the Party and give top priority to the supply of iron and steel needed in the agricultural sector, a major thrust of the effort for economic construction and improvement of the people's living standard.

Ri Mu Yong, vice-premier and minister of Chemical Industry, voiced the determination to produce and supply quality farming materials including fertilizer and agricultural chemicals in time by relying on domestic raw materials and fuel and latest science and technology.
