Samjiyon, February 7 (KCNA) -- School youth and children across the country met in front of General Secretary Kim Jong Il's birthplace in the secret camp in Mt. Paektu on Friday to vow to glorify his Songun revolutionary idea and exploits under the leadership of Marshal Kim Jong Un on the occasion of the Day of the Shining Star (birthday of Kim Jong Il).

They laid a floral basket and flowers before the mosaic depicting President Kim Il Sung, Kim Jong Il and anti-Japanese war hero Kim Jong Suk in the secret camp before paying tribute.

At the meeting the participants, led by Jang Hyon Chol, vice-chairman of the Central Committee of the Kim Il Sung Socialist Youth League, expressed their determination to remain loyal to the leadership of Kim Jong Un.

They vowed to always hold Kim Jong Il in high esteem as the eternal sun of Juche and the image of the great Paektusan nation and glorify his Songun revolutionary idea and exploits for all ages.
