Day of Shining Star to Be Celebrated in Syria

| Pyongyang, February 7 (KCNA) -- A preparatory committee of the Socialist Unionist Party of Syria for celebrating the birth anniversary of General Secretary Kim Jong Il (Day of the Shining Star) was formed on Jan. 26. Adnan Ismail, deputy general secretary of the party, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee. The preparatory committee decided to organize diverse political and cultural events on the occasion of the Day of the Shining Star. |
