Day of Shining Star to Be Celebrated in Serbia

| Pyongyang, February 7 (KCNA) -- A Serbian preparatory committee for celebrating the birth anniversary of General Secretary Kim Jong Il (Day of the Shining Star) was inaugurated in Belgrade on January 23. Batric Mijovic, general secretary of the New Yugoslav Communist Party in Serbia, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee. The committee decided to hold political and cultural events including meeting and seminar praising the revolutionary career and exploits of Kim Jong Il from Feb. 1 to 20. |
