Day of Shining Star to Be Marked in Ethiopia

| Pyongyang, February 7 (KCNA) -- An Ethiopian preparatory committee for celebrating the birth anniversary of General Secretary Kim Jong Il (Day of the Shining Star) was inaugurated by the Ethiopian Youth Study Group of the Juche Idea on Jan. 27. Nigatu Dagnachew, chairman of the group, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee. The preparatory committee decided to organize diverse political and cultural events in praise of the exploits and revolutionary career of Kim Jong Il on the occasion of the Day of the Shining Star. |
