Day of Shining Star to Be Celebrated in Iran

| Pyongyang, February 7 (KCNA) -- A preparatory committee of the Islamic Coalition Party of Iran for celebrating the birth anniversary of General Secreatry Kim Jong Il (Day of the Shining Star) was inaugurated in Tehran on January 25. Hamid Reza Taraghi, vice general secretary of the party, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee. The committee decided to hold colorful political and cultural events including a remembrance meeting, photo exhibition and film show on the occasion of the Day of the Shining Star. |
