Number of "Our Classroom" Literary Prize Winners on Increase
Pyongyang, February 6 (KCNA) -- The number of winners of "Our Classroom" Literary Prize is steadily increasing among school youth and children in the DPRK.

A prize contest for literary works is an annual event in the country.

Over 300 more literary works entered the contest than the previous one.

Among the recipients of the prize are Ri Yu Jong, student of Taedoksan Senior Secondary School in Jangphung County, Han Ryu Gyong, student of Kumsonggori Primary School in Taesong District in Pyongyang, brothers Kim Mu Song and Kim Mu Gwang, students of Chongryu Junior Secondary School and Chongryu Primary School in Taedonggang District in Pyongyang. The number of the prize winners reached at least 11,000, taking the country as a whole.

The students created works, reflecting their loyal determination to glorify forever the imperishable exploits of the great persons of Mt. Paektu and prepare themselves as reliable successors to the revolutionary cause of Juche.

Among those works are children poems "We Miss You General Very Much" and "Padded Clothes of the Generalissimo", children song "Marshal's Journey to the Front"," diary "We Wish to Sing of All Blessings", essay "How Will the Flower of Five Marks Come into Bloom" and others with diverse themes and genres.

Its awarding ceremony took place at the Hall of the Kim Il Sung Socialist Youth League on Thursday.
