Coal Production Goes Up at Tokchon Area Coal-Mining Complex
Tokchon, February 6 (KCNA) -- Coal production is going up at the Tokchon Area Coal-Mining Complex.

The miners have carried out the daily production quota of the complex at 110 percent in the same spirit as displayed in hitting the production target for January.

The workers at Tokchon and Toksong coal mines have carried out their daily production quota at more than 120 percent by pushing tunneling ahead of other work and bringing about collective innovations.

The Wolbong and Hyongbong coal mines have boosted the coal production by encouraging their workers to display creative initiative, introducing effective mining methods and organizing a socialist emulation for increased production.

The per shift coal production jumped and belt conveyors and other transport means were operated in full capacity at Jenam and Namyang coal mines.

Those coal mines are also pushing ahead with the work to secure sufficient new rich coal fields by concentrating efforts on heading tunneling and the preparations for it while pressing forward the coal production.
