Overseas Koreans Call for Peace, Reunification of Korea

Pyongyang, February 6 (KCNA) -- Overseas Koreans held seminars for peace and reunification of the Korean peninsula in Seattle in the U.S. and Vancouver in Canada on Feb 1 and 2, according to Minjok Thongsin, internet newspaper of Koreans in the U.S.

Present there were Koreans in the U.S. and Canada.

Speakers said a stumbling block lying in the way of peace and reunification of Korea is outsiders and forces sycophantic toward the U.S.

Politicians and media of the U.S. and Japan are too ignorant of the DPRK, they said.

They stressed overseas Koreans will conduct positive activities to realize peace and reunification.
