Day of Shining Star to Be Celebrated in Italy

| Pyongyang, February 6 (KCNA) -- An Italian preparatory committee for celebrating the birth anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il (Day of the Shining Star) was inaugurated in Rome on January 30. Franco Constanzi, secretary general of the Italian Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee. The preparatory committee decided to hold diverse political and cultural events including seminar and lecture praising the exploits of Kim Jong Il on the occasion of the Day of the Shining Star. |
