Damage by Oil Outflow in South Korea
Pyongyang, February 4 (KCNA) -- There occurred an incident of oil outflow in the sea off Ryosu, South Jolla Province in south Korea on Jan. 31, entailing big damage, according to KBS of south Korea.

An oil tanker collided with a landing bridge while mooring at the port. The collision wrecked the oil pipeline, causing a large amount of spill.

The spilt oil is flowing to the nearby fishing grounds, 2-3 km from the accident spot, damaging shellfish and other breeding grounds and fishing grounds.

Pollution damage will increase as much oil got stuck to rocks and sand, it reported.
