The chairman of the National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea of DR Congo who was elected chairman of the DR Congo preparatory committee for celebrating the birth anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il (the Day of the Shining Star) said this at the inaugural ceremony of the preparatory committee held on January 22.

He went on:

Kim Jong Il developed in depth the Juche idea, providing a powerful ideological and theoretical weapon to the world progressive people struggling to achieve independence.

He decisively frustrated the high-handed and arbitrary acts of the U.S. and other imperialists by pursuing the invincible Songun politics.

The exploits Kim Jong Il performed for accomplishing the global cause of independence will always be remembered by the progressive mankind struggling for independence, progress and peace.

We will intensify our activities to study and disseminate great Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism on the significant Day of the Shining Star, he noted.
