The reporter and speakers recalled that supreme leader Kim Jong Un in his New Year Address indicated the tasks to bring about a significant boost in agricultural production this year marking the 50th anniversary of the publication of the Theses on Socialist Rural Question.

They called for dynamically staging the socialist emulation for increased production and various other mass movements, doing farming as required by the Juche-oriented farming method and putting it on a scientific basis and thereby increasing the per hectare grain production.

They underlined the need to make thorough-going preparations for the immediate farming, boost the production of meat, vegetables in greenhouses and mushroom and make a breakthrough in undertaking difficult and labor-consuming work.

They stressed the need to successfully operate all farm machines in full capacity and demonstrate the validity and vitality of the youth sub-workteam and youth workteam movement in rural villages.

They called on the organizations of the youth league to dynamically conduct the work for giving fullest play to the mental power of their members and render sincere labor and material support to countryside.

Calling for bringing about a boost in this year's agricultural production true to the leadership of Kim Jong Un, they challenged all the youth league organizations and their members across the country to a socialist emulation for increased production.
