Day of Sun and Day of Shining Star to Be Marked in Britain

| Pyongyang, January 29 (KCNA) -- A British preparatory committee for celebrating the birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung (the Day of the Sun) and the birth anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il (the Day of the Shining Star) was inaugurated in London on January 21. Andy Brooks, general secretary of the Central Committee of the New Communist Party of Britain, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee. The preparatory committee decided to organize diverse political and cultural events including publicity activities, seminar, lecture and film show for widely introducing the exploits of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il in the period between February 1 and April 15. |
