Japanese Reactionaries' Moves to Revive Militarism Assailed
Pyongyang, January 28 (KCNA) -- An aid to the Japanese prime minister voiced his intent to finish the revision of the interpretation of the constitution tolerating the exercise of the right to collective self-defense within the Diet session.

Commenting on this, Minju Joson Tuesday observes:

The Abe regime disclosed its zeal to take off the brake put on the militarist chariot by revising the "Pacifist Constitution" under the signboard of the exercise of the right to collective self-defense.

The tolerance of the exercise of the right to collective self-defense is closely linked with the constitutional revision. This is the core policy task put forward by the Abe regime well-known for its bellicose nature, the commentary notes, and goes on:

The Abe regime is full of the ambition to bring back the "old days" when Japan was known as a "strong country" engaged in acts of aggression and plunder. The regime is keen on the moves to revive militarism more than all the successive regimes of Japan.

Out of the calculation that it can rush headlong into reinvasion only when it shakes off the yoke of the ostentatious "Pacifist Constitution", the regime has gone desperate in its efforts to revise the constitution under the pretext of the exercise of the right to collective self-defense.

In the meantime, it has worked hard to boost the capabilities of the existing armed forces for fighting a war.

The Abe regime has become all the more desperate in its moves to revive militarism and launch reinvasion. This indicates the increasing threat to global peace and stability.

It is the unanimous will of the international community never to tolerate the reckless hysteria of Japan set to inflict disastrous holocaust on humankind.

It is a pipe-dream for the Japanese reactionaries to try to turn the country into a "war state" under the pretext of rebuilding "strong Japan".
