Riyad Chaloub, chairman of the Guinean National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea, and Banou Keita, chairman of the Guinea-Korea Friendship Association, said this at an inaugural ceremony of the Guinean preparatory committee for celebrating the Day of the Sun and the Day of the Shining Star held on January 21.

Displayed on front of the venue of the ceremony were portraits of smiling Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il.

Also displayed at the venue were photos dealing with exploits of the peerlessly great persons of Mt. Paektu and pictures introducing the Korean people who are building a thriving nation.

Speakers said:

Not only the Korean people but progressives of the world are most significantly celebrating the Day of the Sun and the Day of the Shining Star.

Kim Il Sung is the great leader who devoted his whole life to the people.

Kim Jong Il is the great leader in the era of independence who devoted himself to the people's happiness and accomplishment of the global cause of independence.

The Korean people will surely emerge victorious in the confrontation with U.S. imperialism under the leadership of Kim Jong Un.
