Day of Shining Star to Be Marked in Romania

| Pyongyang, January 27 (KCNA) -- A Romanian national preparatory committee for celebrating the birth anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il (the Day of the Shining Star) was inaugurated in Bucharest on January 21. Vasile Orleanu, chairman of the Supreme Council of the Socialist Party of Romania, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee. The preparatory committee decided to organize diverse political and cultural events including seminar, lecture and photo and book exhibition between January 25 and February 16. |
