Hessou Kohovi, chairman of the Benin-Korea Amicable Association "Long Live Kim Jong Il, Supreme Leader", was elected chairman of the preparatory committee.

The committee decided to widely introduce and disseminate the sacred revolutionary career and exploits of Kim Jong Il and organize colorful political and cultural events on the occasion of the Day of the Shining Star (birth anniversary of Kim Jong Il).
