Suppression of Trade Unions Denounced in S. Korea

| Pyongyang, January 22 (KCNA) -- Those concerned of the International Labor Organization held a press conference on Monday in the office of the south Korean Confederation of Trade Unions to denounce the puppet authorities for suppressing trade unions, according to south Korean MBC. They said they confirmed the fact that the south Korean regime has suppressed civic and social organizations including trade unions, terming it illegal. It is in violation of the principle of the International Labor Organization to arrest and detain unionists for the mere reason that they participated in a peaceful strike, they held. |
