Pyongyang, January 13 (KCNA) -- A campaign for calling on the people to successfully carry out the tasks set forth by supreme leader Kim Jong Un in his New Year Address is gaining momentum in all parts of the DPRK.

Brass bands and loudspeaker cars are seen in industrial establishments, co-op farms and streets to inspire the people to make a fresh upsurge in industrial and agricultural output.

Artistic activities have been conducted to call for raising a fierce wind of making a fresh leap forward on all fronts of building a thriving country.

A number of art pieces which appeal to the people to implement the New Year Address have been created by the Ministry of Culture, the central committees of the Writers Union of Korea and the Artists Union of Korea.

Artistes of the Phibada Opera Troupe, the National Theatrical Troupe and other art troupes find themselves among workers of the Pyongyang Thermal Power Complex, Pyongyang Kim Jong Suk Silk Mill and other factories to conduct artistic activities while working together with workers.

Art squads at various levels are also taking active part in giving appealing performances at the Pyongyang Railway Bureau, East Pyongyang Thermal Power Plant and other places.
