Huge armed forces including at least 5,000 U.S. marines belonging to the U.S. forces in Japan and over 3,000 south Korean marines, more than 10,000 in all, large transport planes, large landing craft, fast landing craft, armored cars and helicopters will be involved in the drill, part of Key Resolve and Foal Eagle joint military exercises.

It was reported that the joint landing drill will be the largest in its scale and subject since Team Spirit joint military exercises in 1989.

The U.S. imperialists and the puppet warmongers are getting more frantic with war maneuvers against the DPRK from the outset of the year, a blatant challenge to the desire of fellow countrymen to improve the inter-Korean relations and usher in a new phase of independent reunification, peace and prosperity and a belligerent move to ignite a war against the DPRK on the Korean Peninsula at any cost.
