DPRK Photo, Book and Fine Art Exhibition Opens in Russia
Pyongyang, January 2 (KCNA) -- A Korean photo, book and fine art exhibition was opened with due ceremony at the Far Eastern Fine Arts Museum in Khabarovsk City, Russia on December 25, 2013 on the occasion of the second anniversary of Supreme leader Kim Jong Un's assumption of supreme commandership of the Korean People's Army.

Seen on the front of the venue of the exhibition were portraits of smiling President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il.

Displayed there were photos documenting their immortal exploits. Also on display there were famous works of peerlessly great persons of Mt. Paektu and photos and books introducing Songun Korea and fine art works associated with Koreans' resourcefulness and talents.

Present there were figures of the Khabarovsk Territory Administration, Legislative Assembly and the Khabarovsk City Administration and masses.

A. N. Sokolov, mayor of Khabarovsk City, said in his speech.

Russia and the DPRK have made positive efforts to boost the traditional friendly and cooperative relations.

The DPRK is not big in its territory but is very strong in its sovereignty.

The exhibition offers citizens of Khabarovsk City an opportunity to know well about the successes being made by the Korean people in building a thriving socialist nation under the leadership of Marshal Kim Jong Un.

And they will also have a chance to see and feel the developing culture in the DPRK and the Korean people's resourcefulness and talents.

The Korean people will register fresh successes in building a thriving nation overcoming all sorts of difficulties under the leadership of Kim Jong Un.

The exhibition will last till January 15.
