Kim Jong Il Remembered in Various Countries
Pyongyang, December 25 (KCNA) -- Remembrance meetings took place in various countries on the occasion of the second anniversary of demise of leader Kim Jong Il.

They were held by the Pakistan-Korea Friendship Association, Ali Ali School of Karachi of Pakistan, Rajabat Pranakorn University of Thailand and the Kimilsungia Greenhouse of Guinea from December 8 to 17.

Displayed at the venues of the events were photos documenting the feats of Kim Jong Il and Marshal Kim Jong Un.

The minister for Rural Development and Special Development of the Sind State Government of Pakistan in his speech said as follows:

Humankind is boundlessly admiring Kim Jong Il for the great exploits he performed in victorious advancing the socialist cause, defending world peace and security and promoting the friendship and unity among countries upholding the banner of independence against imperialism.

Thanks to the precious revolutionary heritage left by Kim Jong Il the Korean people have dynamically pushed forward the building of a thriving socialist nation with faith in victory.

The principal of Ali Ali School of Karachi of Pakistan highly praised Kim Jong Il as a prominent leader who provided an everlasting foundation for building a thriving nation and a defender of socialism and justice.

The chairman of the Thailand-DPRK Friendship Association lauded the revolutionary life of the peerlessly great man who made an immortal contribution to the Korean revolution and the human cause of independence upholding the banner of Songun.

The vice-chairman of the Kimilsungia-Kimjongilia Association in Guinea stressed that Kim Jong Il will always live in the hearts of the progressive humankind along with the prosperous socialist Korea.

Letters to Kim Jong Un were adopted at remembrance meetings held in Pakistan.
