The National Theatrical Troupe staged drama "Woman Comrade of Mt. Paektu" at the National Theatre.

The drama impressively represented the transparent spirit of devotedly defending the leader and revolutionary comradeship displayed by Kim Jong Suk during the anti-Japanese war.

The Samjiyon Band of the Mansudae Art Troupe performed diverse art numbers at the East Pyongyang Grand Theatre.

The performers highly praised the feats of Kim Jong Il and Kim Jong Suk.

Concert "Please Receive Our Salute" was given by the National Symphony Orchestra at the Moranbong Theatre.

Physical acrobatics "Let Us Fly Higher" and "Man and Woman Ring Plastic Etude", jugglery "Longing Mind" and other acrobatic pieces were staged at the Pyongyang Circus Theatre and the Pothonggang Circus Theatre.

There took place colorful events in Jagang, South Hwanghae, North and South Hamgyong provinces and other local areas.

Through the presentations of poems and songs and oratorical meetings working people and school youth and children across the country vividly represented their ardent yearning for the peerlessly great persons of Mt. Paektu. They also had sports and amusement games, revving up the festive atmosphere.
