Wreaths Laid before Bust of Kim Jong Suk
Pyongyang, December 24 (KCNA) -- Wreaths were laid before the bust of anti-Japanese war hero Kim Jong Suk at the Revolutionary Martyrs Cemetery on Mt. Taesong on Tuesday, the 96th anniversary of her birth.

Seen before the bust was a wreath sent by Kim Jong Un, first secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea, first chairman of the National Defence Commission of the DPRK and supreme commander of the Korean People's Army.

Present at the wreath-laying ceremony were Kim Yong Nam, Pak Pong Ju and other senior party and state officials, officials of the party, armed forces and power bodies, the Cabinet, working people's organizations, ministries and national institutions, service personnel of the Korean People's Army and the Korean People's Internal Security Forces, working people and school youth and children in Pyongyang.

Laid before the bust were wreaths in the name of the Central Committee of the WPK, the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK and the DPRK Cabinet.

Also placed were wreaths in the name of the Ministry of the People's Armed Forces, the Ministry of People's Security, working people's organizations, ministries, national institutions, KPA units, educational, public health and media institutions, the Korean Children's Union and party and power organs, factories and farms in the city.

The participants observed a moment's silence in memory of Kim Jong Suk's revolutionary life.
