S. Korean Police's Suppression under Fire
Pyongyang, December 24 (KCNA) -- Representatives of different social organizations in south Korea held a press conference at the meeting room of the south Korean Confederation of Trade Unions (KCTU) on Monday in denunciation of the puppet police's suppression.

Speakers at the press conference expressed resentment at the fact that the police went on a rampage after storming into offices of the KCTU on Sunday.

This repression without any search-warrant is clearly illegal act, they said.

They urged the authorities to punish those responsible and immediately stop the suppression of trade unions and the moves to privatize railways.

Now women and law organizations and other people of different social standings are protesting against the police's repression, they said, expressing the will to wage a million-citizen action and other actions in solidarity with the general strike of the KCTU.
