Nullification of Fraudulent Election Called for in S. Korea
Pyongyang, December 23 (KCNA) -- Protest actions were staged in different parts of south Korea on the lapse of one year since the chief executive was elected in the "presidential election" by scandals and swindles.

People of different social standings including civic, public and religious circles and opposition parties in South Jolla Province held a meeting outside the building of the provincial "assembly" on Dec. 19 to demand the nullification the fraudulent election with government power involved and resignation of Park Geun Hye.

A declaration on the situation was published at the meeting.

The declaration said that the people are demanding the chief executive's apology and punishment of those responsible as regards the power organs' interference in the election.

But the "government" has turned its back on this demand with lies and made no scruple of putting an unreasonable pressure in a bid to lay hurdles in the way of the investigation into the case, it noted.

It denounced the regime for cracking down on the people and believers who have ideas different from it, criticize it and tell truth after defining them as the "forces following the north."

Last year's "presidential" election is null and void and Park should step down as she took office through the fraudulent election with government power involved, it held.

Civic and public organizations in Kwangju held a press conference on the same day, declaring the results of last year's election null and void and urging the chief executive to step down.

At the press conference speakers demanded the authorities probe the truth behind the election rigging, stop privatization and enforce politics for people's life.

Civic and public organizations in North Jolla Province held a meeting on the emergency situation in Jonju on Dec. 18 at which they published a declaration on the situation calling for the resignation of Park, probe into the truth about the election rigging and halt to the racket for eliminating the "forces following the north".
