Discrimination against Part-timers Protested in S. Korea
Pyongyang, December 23 (KCNA) -- The school part-time job headquarters of the Public Transport Trade Union under the south Korean Confederation of Trade Unions launched an action in Seoul on Dec. 19 calling for abolishing the discrimination against part-timers.

The organization held meetings in front of the building of the "Saenuri Party" and its vicinity to secure stable employment, turn part-time jobs into regular ones and demand the chief executive carry out her commitments.

Then it held a press conference outside the puppet "National Assembly."

Speakers at the press conference deplored that though Park Geun Hye dines with those of the "Saenuri Party" on the lapse of one year since her election as "president", the part-time workers have to still demand for vital rights in cold weather.

How can the people feel at ease now when dismissal is informed in an unbroken chain, they said.

Hundreds of thousands of school part-time workers are leading a miserable life, they said, urging Park Geun Hye and the political camp to reply to the demand of the people.

They urged the authorities to abolish the discrimination against part-timers.
