Kim Jong Il Remembered by Foreign Figures
Pyongyang, December 22 (KCNA) -- Remembrance meetings took place in DR Congo, Romania, Sweden and Ecuador on December 14 and 16 on the occasion of the 2nd anniversary of demise of leader Kim Jong Il.

Boswa Isekombe Sylvere, general secretary of the Communist Party of the Democratic Congo, at a meeting praised Kim Jong Il for performing immortal exploits on behalf of the Korean revolution and human cause of independence, saying that his exploits will remain forever.

Constantin Rotaru, chairman of the Romanian Socialist Union, said that the Korean people have achieved great successes in stepping up the economic construction and bolstering up defence capabilities under the wise leadership of supreme leader Kim Jong Un, true to the behest of Kim Jong Il for the past two years after his demise.

In the next year, too, the Korean people will register only victories in the drive to defend the banner of socialism and reunify the country, rallied close around Kim Jong Un, he stressed.

Oskar Molleby, chief of the Swedish Group for the Study of the Juche Idea, said that Kim Jong Il developed in depth the Juche idea founded by President Kim Il Sung and gave lucid solutions to theoretical and practical issues arising in every stage of the socialist construction, thus illuminating the way for the efforts of progressive mankind to achieve independence.

Julio Ballesteros Espin, chairman of the Ecuador-Guaranda Institute for Friendship and Cultural Solidarity with the Korean People, praised Kim Jong Il as the eternal leader of mankind and brilliant Songun commander.
