Kim Jong Il Remembered by Koreans in Kyrgyzstan
Pyongyang, December 20 (KCNA) -- The United Confederation of Koreans in Kyrgyzstan held a memorial service at the Korean Center on December 17, the 2nd anniversary of demise of General Secretary Kim Jong Il.

Present there were Pak Kyong Ho, chairman of the confederation, and its officials and compatriots.

The participants laid a floral basket and bouquets before a portrait of Kim Jong Il at the center and paid tribute to him.

Pak Kyong Ho in his speech said that the whole life of Kim Jong Il was the brilliant one of a great revolutionary, gifted iron-willed commander, simplest and benevolent father of the people.

He noted that Kim Jong Il built the prospering socialist power in the homeland by successfully carrying forward the revolutionary cause of President Kim Il Sung.

He went on:

The immortal exploits Kim Jong Il performed for the country and people will be everlasting along with the Korean nation.

The people miss him as his feats are great and he took warm loving care for the people. He will always live in the hearts of the compatriots and the world progressive mankind.

Marshal Kim Jong Un is an outstanding leader recognized by the world.

Compatriots will make a positive contribution to national reunification and the building of a thriving country true to the leadership of Kim Jong Un.

The speakers recollected the revolutionary life, lofty traits and exploits of Kim Jong Il.
