Foreign Crewmen Meet to Remember Kim Jong Il
Haeju, December 17 (KCNA) -- A remembrance meeting was held by foreign crewmen in Haeju Port on Tuesday, the 2nd anniversary of demise of General Secretary Kim Jong Il.

The participants laid bouquets before the full-length picture depicting the three commanders of Mt. Paektu in Haeju City, South Hwanghae Province and paid tribute to them.

Hung on the front wall of the venue of the meeting were portraits of smiling President Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il.

Present at the meeting were captains and crewmen of the Cambodian-flagged ship Ming-Chuan 1 and the Tanzanian-flagged ship Haijie.

They observed a moment's silence in humblest reverence for Kim Jong Il.

Speakers said at the meeting that Kim Jong Il devoted his all to the people, regarding it as his motto to believe in them as in Heaven.

They went on:

Kim Jong Il who devoted himself to realizing the revolutionary cause of Kim Il Sung developed in depth the Juche idea and remarkably strengthened the position of the DPRK.

He dedicated his whole life to the prosperity of the country, happiness of the people and development of the friendly relations among countries.

The idea and cause of Kim Jong Il have been successfully carried forward by Marshal Kim Jong Un.

They hoped that the Korean people would successfully carry out the behests of Kim Jong Il under the leadership of Kim Jong Un.

At the end of the meeting the participants watched a Korean documentary film.
