Remembrance Concert Given
Pyongyang, December 17 (KCNA) -- A remembrance concert "The General Will Live Forever as the Sun" was given by the National Symphony Orchestra at the Moranbong Theatre Tuesday, the second anniversary of demise of General Secretary Kim Jong Il.

Put on the stage were such numbers as piano concerto "Cantata to Comrade Kim Jong Il" and third movement "The General Is the Son of the Guerrillas" and fourth movement "Where Are You, Dear General?", an immortal classic masterpiece, of symphony suite "Korea, I Will Glorify Thee", an immortal classic masterpiece.

The performers highly praised immortal revolutionary life and feats of Kim Jong Il who was born as the son of guerrillas in Mt. Paektu, the sacred mountain of the revolution and dedicated himself to accomplishing the revolutionary cause of Juche for decades.

Symphony poem "Boundless Is Our Yearning", choruses and orchestras "The General Will Live Forever as the Sun" and "We Know You Only" and other numbers represented that Kim Jong Il will always be with us and profound is the trust of all the service personnel and the people in supreme leader Kim Jong Un.

Orchestra "Ode to the Motherland" reflecting warm love for the socialist motherland and the ardent pledge of all the service personnel and people to dedicate themselves to the dear motherland stirred up the hearts of the audience.

Enjoying the concert were senior party, state and army officials, chairperson of a friendly party, officials of the Cabinet and armed forces organs, those who distinguished themselves in realizing the cause of perpetuating the memory of the leader and other people.

Present there on invitation were delegations of overseas compatriots, overseas Koreans, those related to the revolutionary activities of Kim Jong Il, the chief of the Pyongyang mission of the Anti-Imperialist National Democratic Front, couples of foreign diplomatic envoys and representatives of international organizations and military attaches here.
