Kim Jong Il Remembered in Different Countries
Pyongyang, December 17 (KCNA) -- There took place meetings in Bangladesh, Iran and Myanmar on December 10 and 11 to remember General Secretary Kim Jong Il on the occasion of the 2nd anniversary of his demise.

Displayed in the venues of the meetings were photos documenting the revolutionary career of Kim Jong Il and exploits of supreme leader Kim Jong Un.

On display were their works and publications introducing Songun Korea.

Present at the meetings were officials of the Communist Party, National Socialist Party, Socialist Party and Workers' Party of Bangladesh, Bangladesh-Korea Friendship and Solidarity Committee, Iran-Korea Friendship Magsal Agro-Stock Farm and a Myanmar publishing house and masses.

Speakers including the general secretary of the Central Committee of the Bangladesh Communist Party praised Kim Jong Il for making immortal contributions to the global cause of independence through his matchless great idea and leadership.

They said that he will always live in the hearts of progressive mankind as he devoted himself to the people's happiness and prosperity and the global independence.

The manager of the Iran-Korea Friendship Magsal Agro-Stock Farm said that successes achieved by the DPRK in recent years are fruition of the wise leadership of Kim Jong Un, who is successfully carrying forward the cause of Kim Jong Il.

He noted that the U.S. and its followers' moves against the DPRK cannot weaken the Korean people's trust in their leader.

The general director of a Myanmar publishing house said that Kim Jong Il's immortal exploits will shine forever, adding that the world does not know such a leader as him who passed away in a train while providing field guidance for the prosperity of the country and the happiness of the people till the last moments of his life.
