Foreign Crewmen Meet to Remember Kim Jong Il
Pyongyang, December 16 (KCNA) -- A remembrance meeting was held by foreign crewmen in Hungnam Port on Monday on the occasion of the 2nd anniversary of demise of General Secretary Kim Jong Il.

Participants laid bouquets before the statues of President Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il in Hamhung City, South Hamgyong Province and paid tribute to them.

Present at the meeting were the captain and crewmen of the Panamanian-flagged ship Hui Xiang.

Speakers said that Kim Jong Il dedicated his whole life to the country's prosperity and the people's happiness.

They stressed that his whole life is the one of a peerless patriot and distinguished revolutionary who devoted himself to accomplishing the revolutionary cause of Juche with the intense loyalty to Kim Il Sung.

They said that the Korean people are making great successes in building a thriving socialist nation and waging a dynamic struggle for the independent and peaceful reunification of the country, single-mindedly united around the party.

They emphasized that only victory and glory are in store for the Korean people holding supreme leader Kim Jong Un in high esteem at the head of the party, state and army.

A letter to Kim Jong Un was adopted there.
