S. Korean Regime's Abuses of Human Rights Slammed
Pyongyang, December 13 (KCNA) -- Members of more than 50 human rights organizations of south Korea including the Society for Human Rights Movement and the Catholic Human Rights Committee held a press conference in Seoul on Dec. 10 on the lapse of 65 years since the World Declaration of Human Rights was adopted.

Speakers at the press conference denounced the Park Geun Hye regime for its abuses of human rights.

They said that the human rights of south Korea are put under the sway of the ruler who does not understand what are the human rights and freedom, the question raised 65 years ago when the World Declaration of Human Rights was adopted.

The people's rights are trampled down and even their life is being endangered owing to the worsening inequality after Park came to power, they noted.

The Park regime is resorting to the racket of eliminating the "forces following the north" and intensifying discrimination and crackdown, they said, urging it to respect the World Declaration of Human Rights.

They expressed their will to struggle to have the rights of the people ensured.
