Foreign Media Praises Kim Jong Il
Pyongyang, December 13 (KCNA) -- Foreign newspapers and magazines carried special write-ups illustrated with a portrait of smiling leader Kim Jong Il and photos dealing with his revolutionary activities on the occasion of the 2nd anniversary of his demise.

The Bulgarian paper Iskra in its November issue carried several articles under the headline of "On the occasion of the 2nd anniversary of demise of Kim Jong Il, eternal general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea".

The paper wrote that he defended the sovereignty of the country with his unique Songun politics and wisely led the cause of socialism to victory in the closing years of the last century.

Guang Ming Daily of Malaysia on December 6 carried an article titled "Life of devotion to the country and people".

It said:

It is almost two years since Kim Jong Il, great father of the Korean nation, passed away so unexpectedly and so untimely.

He provided field guidance for the people even in December 2011, last month of his great life.

He was really the symbol of victory and spiritual mainstay of the Korean people.

The Uruguayan paper La Juventud on December 4 carried an article titled "Immortal exploits leader Kim Jong Il performed for the cause of global independence".

The paper wrote in detail that Kim Jong Il gave perfect answers to the strategic and tactical problems arising in the struggle for independence of the world with his energetic ideological and theoretical activities and devoted his all to their realization. The paper stressed that he is alive in the hearts of the progressive mankind.

A Nepali magazine in the issues of October and November carried articles praising the glorious history of the Workers' Party of Korea which emerged only victorious under the wise leadership of President Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il.
